Cristiano Ronaldo's Private Jets

Asked by Forbes in November 2025 to name the most expensive thing he had ever bought, Ronaldo answered without hesitation: his plane, with its custom paint job. He bought a Gulfstream G200 for around $22 million in 2015 and has since been linked to a long-range Gulfstream G650 valued near $65 million.

Why the jet, specifically

Ronaldo has lived a commuting career — Madeira to Lisbon, Manchester to Madrid, Turin, back to Manchester, now Riyadh — while maintaining homes and businesses in Portugal and Spain and playing international football throughout. A long-range business jet turns a Riyadh-to-Lisbon weekend from a logistical problem into a routine. For an athlete whose recovery schedule is a professional asset, that is closer to infrastructure than to luxury.

What we can and cannot verify

The 2015 G200 purchase is well documented, as is his own statement that the plane is his most expensive buy. The specific G650 valuation is reported rather than confirmed by a registration record, so we rate it Estimated. Note too that the Al Nassr contract separately provides him with a private jet — so aircraft access and aircraft ownership are not the same thing in his case.

A note on confidence
Private aircraft are frequently held through corporate entities and trusts, and registrations change. We report the purchases that are documented and label the rest Estimated rather than asserting a fleet.
